The apartment is fully equipped and well suited for longer stays, including business trips.

Bedrooms The apartment features two bedrooms available year-round, plus an additional summer room for use during the warmer months.

Summer room The summer room has electricity, but it is not insulated and does not have heating. There is an insulated door between the apartment and the summer room, which can be opened and locked from inside the apartment.

A portable heater can be used to warm the summer room if needed. However, due to its nine windows and lack of insulation, it is typically used only during the warmer months.

Single beds Some of the beds are double beds. The apartment offers separate beds for up to 5 guests year-round, and can accommodate up to 7 guests in total. A wooden baby cot is available for small children.

Shower/toilet The apartment has one bathroom with a shower and toilet. The bathroom features underfloor heating and a motorized ceiling fan for ventilation. In the bathroom cabinet you will find a hairdryer and other essentials, such as spare toothbrushes and cotton swabs.

Shampoo and body wash in the bathroom are available free of charge for our guests.

Kitchen The spacious kitchen is ideal for cooking for larger groups. The dining table seats 6 people, with additional space for a high chair at the end.

Good to know: The kitchen is well equipped for up to 7 guests and includes everything you need for cooking: an oven and stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and blender. Guests can freely use porridge ingredients, and we also provide coffee, tea, a little milk and basic spices – ideal if you arrive late and don’t have time to visit the store.

Food stores: A local grocery store is just 30 metres away, and larger supermarkets in the centre are within one kilometre.

Good to know: WiFi and Netflix (available on the smart TV in the corner room) are included in the price. Both main bedrooms have their own TVs, blackout curtains, a portable cooling unit for summer, and the possibility for cross ventilation. All rooms have adjustable heating and at least one opening window, allowing for good ventilation.

Enjoy hotel-level comfort in a cosy, thoughtfully furnished apartment.

Your stay always includes freshly made beds, two pillows per guest and final cleaning.

Huoneistossa on kirjoja, pelejä, piirustusvälineet, joogamatot (2 kpl), kävelysauvat (2 kpl) sekä ulkoteisessä majoittujille maksutta erilaisia retkeilytarvikkeita ja käsipainot lainaan.

Grandmother's garden: The garden surrounding the house is a shared outdoor area where guests are welcome to spend time freely. The yard includes a garden swing, a designated smoking area, a fire pit, a frisbee golf basket and a dartboard (darts available on request).

Pets: The house cats move freely in the yard and are used to guests. The family’s Lapland dog may also be outside on a leash. It is friendly but enthusiastic and may jump.

Bicycles: For a small additional fee, you can rent bicycles provided by the house. The selection ranges from city bikes to gravel bikes, and one of the bikes can be fitted with a child seat.

Electric mountain bikes (5 units) are available for an additional fee, and you can also rent one throttle-controlled e-fat bike from the house.

Guests have access to a private parking area included in the accommodation price, located in the lower yard of the property (courtyard and driveway on private grounds). There is space for larger vehicles and even trailers. The upper yard is reserved for massage clients.

During winter, if heating connections are needed for several cars at the same time, an additional outlet located near the entrance in the upper yard can also be used. In the lower yard, there is space to connect two cars to heating at once. Please note that we do not have an electric vehicle charging point.

Electric vehicles: The nearest electric vehicle charging points are located in the town center, at the local supermarkets.

Good to know: All public parking areas in Mäntyharju are free of charge. Three
key points

Because a quick recap never hurts…

Flexible apartment

The apartment adapts to your needs, whether you’re on a business trip, a family holiday or a nature adventure.

Celebrations and special moments
The kitchen is also equipped with a selection of different glasses, allowing you to enjoy wine or sparkling drinks in style. Breakfast or evening snack packages, as well as a cheese platter with sparkling wine, can be ordered to the apartment.

Or maybe you are...

We offer a cosy, home-like environment where everything you need is ready for your stay – comfortable beds, freshly made bedding, towels, toiletries and a well-equipped kitchen make travelling easy.

Bedrooms Bedrooms – we focus on your sleeping comfort. Comfortable beds, cotton bed linen, adjustable room temperatures and opening windows are not always standard even in hotels, but with us they are.

Both bedrooms have their own TV, and the smart TV in the Blue bedroom also provides internet access and free Netflix. The house’s WiFi is included in the price.

We can arrange separate beds for up to five guests year-round. The apartment has two bedrooms, with an additional summer room available during the warmer season. The space is most comfortable for 2–3 adults at a time, as the apartment includes 2+1 bedrooms.

Toys, games, drawing supplies and storybooks are always available in the apartment.

When we know who is arriving, we also prepare the apartment with items such as soft toys and set up a high chair and baby bouncer in advance. A potty, step stool and baby bath are also available. As an additional service, we can prepare a sturdy wooden baby cot with bedding and soft items.

Good to know: Good to know: The drawers do not have safety locks. Access to the staircase can be prevented by keeping the apartment doors closed. The interior doors (except the bathroom door) cannot be locked – only the main entrance doors are lockable.

Children are welcome to play in Grandma’s garden surrounding the house, but please note the following:

Grandmother's garden: Grandma’s garden: The garden includes berries that may stain clothing (such as saskatoon berries), dye plants and a tree house. The tree house may be used at your own risk. Children should not be left unattended there, as there is a risk of falling.

Outdoor grill: The grill must be used with supervision, especially when children are present. Open fire always involves risks.

House pets: The house pets (two cats, Luna and Luca, and the dog Lala) are used to guests. However, a cat may scratch or bite if handled roughly, for example by pulling its tail.

Our dog Lala weighs about 25 kg. If she gets excited and jumps while on a leash, a small child may lose balance and fall.

Her leash is attached in the inner yard, and it is possible to walk around the house to avoid passing close by. Lala has never bitten anyone, but as with any animal, supervision is important.

Guests’ pets are also welcome.

A small additional fee covers the extra cleaning that is usually required.

For guests with pets, we provide food bowls, mats, and, if needed, protective covers and towels (especially for muddy or rainy conditions). The apartment shower is spacious enough for washing even a larger dog, and the rest of the bathroom can be protected with glass partitions.

The pet fee also includes a small treat for each pet.

The house pets include a Finnish Lapphund named Lala (female) and our cats Luca and Luna. They are used to guests, but may occasionally be vocal. A cat may also react if handled roughly, for example by pulling its tail.

At times, the dog may be on a leash in the inner yard, so you can walk around the house if you prefer to avoid close contact.

The surrounding area offers excellent walking routes, with plenty of trails through pine forests, rocky landscapes and along the lakeshore.
