Many of the area's best hiking trails, lakes and nature attractions are just a short drive—or even a bike ride—from Accommodation Unelma. We offer a selection of outdoor equipment to help you enjoy the surrounding nature comfortably and independently.

During the summer, bicycles are available for exploring the area, while winter brings excellent opportunities for snowshoeing. Guests can also borrow walking poles, yoga mats and other recreational equipment free of charge throughout their stay.

Electric Fatbike

A powerful electric fatbike for longer adventures and forest trails. 80 € / day but for our guest's 75 € / day.

Snowshoes

Discover the beauty of winter beyond the marked trails. The rental includes adjustable poles and a carrying bag. 30 € / pair

Campfire Coffee Set

Everything you need for authentic Finnish campfire coffee. The set includes: coffee pot, premium mugs for four, Trangia camping stove, fire-lighting fluid, fire starters and insulated seat pads. 40 € / set

Travelling with Children?

Families staying at Unelma are welcome to borrow a range of children's equipment free of charge, including: sledge, a traditional Finnish pulk with sheepskin, child bicycle sea, potty, high chair, baby bouncer and a baby bath. For a small additional fee, we'll prepare a sturdy wooden baby cot complete with bedding and soft toys before your arrival. I'd also be happy to recommend family-friendly attractions and activities in the area.

Trails & Outdoor Activities

Mäntyharju is one of Finland's leading destinations for outdoor adventures. Here you can enjoy hiking, gravel and mountain biking, canoeing, SUP boarding, swimming, trail running, geocaching, disc golf, golf, padel and many other outdoor activities. In winter, the area offers excellent opportunities for cross-country skiing, winter swimming, ice fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice skating and sledding. If you're looking for a real adventure, you can even try rock climbing at the famous Olhava cliffs in Repovesi National Park. The recently renovated Kisala Sports Centre, together with Mäntyharju's extensive network of hiking trails, campfire sites and recreational areas, provides enjoyable activities throughout the year.
